Pole-dancing Mormons make push for Olympics (seriously)
I suppose that as long as it isn't gay pole dancing it is OK.

Gmail now has girlie cuteness!
No, that graphic has nothing really to do with the post -- I just liked it.
Anyhow, Gmail now has themes! I picked one called tea house and it is like the cutest theme ever. It has this little fox guy that lives in a Pagoda and the theme actually changes depending on the time of day. When I started using the theme yesterday afternoon he was up on his roof in the sun drinking tea with a friend. So far tonight he has gone around lighting his candles and is now doing calligraphy.
I know it is silly cuteness, but I still find it fun.
An update -- My little fox finally went to sleep at 2 am and now there are 3 little see through ghost foxes in his garden playing checkers. Too cute!

Lesley Picks a Hottie: Quantumly HOT
Daniel Craig does not have a traditionally handsome face. Oh, but those eyes! He doesn't look bad without a shirt either.
As you may have guessed -- I saw Quantum of Solace last night. Daniel was the James Bond bad boy from start to finish as he sought revenge for his lover Vespa's death (in Casino Royale) and some answers. I so much prefer his bad boy Bond to the earlier Bonds that are overly suave to the point of seeming feminine to me.
I anxiously await the next Bond film and any film that Daniel Craig is in. Did I mention that aside from being hot he is a fabulous actor? Oh well, it doesn't really matter, does it?

Palin Repo
I am no fan of Sarah Palin's, not one bit. But what her own people are doing to her now is disgusting; they've thrown her to the wolves (sorry, that was in bad taste; nothing funny about her support of killing wolves) -- aside from all the backpedaling her own party is doing to her, they've sent a GOP lawyer to Alaska to repossess the clothes bought for her during the campaign.
The Huffington Post has some good things to say about this.
(And what is it about Republican women in high places and stiletto heeled, shiny black boots?)

Kudos to The Women
Not Sarah Palin, the real women - Michelle Obama and Cindy McCain, either of which are smarter than Palin.
I want to give kudos to both women, even though I voted for Obama.
I can't even imagine how hard on them these past several months have been. Yet both of them kept their cool, looked wonderful always and managed to paste a smile to their face each day. I haven't a clue how they do it because I know I would have been completely sick of it by the first week.
I am old enough to have watched many Presidential elections and never have I seen two such fashionable ladies. Gone were all those women suits. Finally!
Possibly there were a few women suits worn by Michelle and Cindy, but they were far more stylish than what we normally see.
Nice to see the Bush's waving goodbye, isn't it?
Oh, I don't want to forget the other two fashionistas, they have a great teacher --
